Educational Mission
As a life long learner I feel that motivation is key. I feel that motivating and encouraging my students will support them as life long learners. As a teacher I want all my students to love reading and critical questioning of everything! Their parents may hate it but, I push them to question and challenge themselves and everyone around them. If I show them that they can think outside the box I will be creating leaders in the world at all different levels.

I believe that we have some of the same values.... why not think. I believe we have a brain, so we can think. When we push ourselves to think it makes us look at things from a different perspective and wonder about life and all that it entails.
I agree with your statement about motivating the students. If you find something that the students can relate to, it makes it that much easier for them to apply it into real life.
Critical thinking is the key to being a successful person. By applying this skill to everyday situations, our students will now have the ability to think about the decisions they make and their consequences.
Motivation is key. how do you plan on motivating them.
